Archpriest of Pietraperzia Cathedral (1810 - 1838)

Filipponeri Blandini, the son of Pietro Blandino and Rosa Bonanno, born on 30 November 1750 in Pietraperzia, fifth of nine children and third of three sons, chose the path of the priesthood and in 1810, succeeded the Rev. Parish Priest Don Girolamo Frangipane. His surname is found, with the title of Archpresbyter and the year of reference, written in Roman numerals MDCCCXXVI, stamped in relief on the middle bell of the Cathedral of Pietraperzia. He died on 23 May 1838 at the age of 88 years. He was 2nd cousin to Richard's 5th great grandfather Michele Blandini.
